Build-Operate-Transfer Process Overview

Needs Analysis and Negotiations

IIT Nearshore Sourcing works closely with the customer organization to identify and analyze goals and motivation behind the decision to set up a captive center. At the operational level we align objectives and initiatives to the customer’s strategy and corporate vision. This should result in building of a shared vision and laying down strong foundations of the future engagement.

Points to be discussed at this stage:
  • Strategic objectives, vision
  • Expected size of the team
  • Required skills and experience of developers
  • Composition of the development center
  • Desired ramp-up timeline
  • Specific infrastructure requirements
  • Other parameters of the captive center

Pilot Project

This option is ultimately designed for risk mitigation purposes, so that the customer organization can test strength and expertise of IIT Nearshore Sourcing before committing to full-scale cooperation.

At this stage we build the initial team of up to 5 developers and start operations with a relatively small project to prove the model. The created basic capability operates as a dedicated development center and the customer is charged fixed monthly fee per full-time employee (FTE). Suggested length of the pilot project stage is up to 6 months.
