Build-Operate-Transfer Process

Build Phase
During the build phase IIT Nearshore Sourcing sets up a development center according to customer’s requirements and approved timeline.
We take responsibility for the following activities:
- Registration of the corporate entity
- Dealing with legal issues
- Infrastructure selection and setup
- HR setup and recruitment
- Setup and implementation of processes
- Finance and accounting setup
Operate Phase
IIT Nearshore Sourcing operates the established captive center at mutually agreed terms for a predefined period of time. Subsidiary reports to managers assigned by the client, while we take care of day-to-day operations.
During this phase IIT Nearshore Sourcing is responsible for:
- Captive center administration
- Continued recruitment in accordance with ramp-up timeline
- Assistance in active knowledge transfer and replication of processes
- Tracking and reporting on the work in progress
- Closely working with in-house team to ensure completion of all projects in accordance with customer’s requirements
- Ongoing enhancements and support in line with customer’s business priorities
Important decisions are made jointly by both parties under agreed-upon governance structure in order to give the customer organization visibility and control of the processes at the captive center.
Transfer Phase
At the end of the contract period customer acquires the captive center, thus becoming the owner of a stable full-fledged development unit staffed with appropriate specialists and operating with minimal supervision. The ultimate goal of the Transfer phase is to completely transfer assets, responsibilities and operational management of the captive center to customer organization.
We offer the flexibility of opting for Transfer earlier than after 24 months of operations (suggested contract period). In this case the transfer price is inversely proportional to the duration of the Operate phase. Alternative triggering events (size of the team, productivity levels etc) that initiate the Transfer phase can be negotiated separately.
After the Transfer phase customer may retain IIT Nearshore Sourcing for the provision of any services that it may not wish to manage. This can be arranged by negotiating additional agreement for the predefined period of time.
